Pune: 17-Year-Old Girl Dies By Suicide At Nanded City; Had Won Many Awards In Horse Riding
Pune, 1st August 2021: A 17-year-old national-level horse rider allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the 11th floor of a building in Nanded city today.
The deceased has been identified as Shriya Gunesh Purandare, a resident of the Madhuvanti building in Nanded City. The reason behind her extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
According to police, Shriya jumped from the eleventh floor of the Madhuvanti building around 9 am today. Abhijeet Deshmukh, who was exercising in the gallery, heard something falling down. When he looked down, he saw Shriya. He informed about the incident to Haveli police station. Police reached the spot and took her to the hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Shriya’s father has an academy of horse riding. Shriya had been taking horse riding lessons since childhood. She has won many awards at the state and national levels.
