Pune Police Recover 74 ‘Missing’ Mobile Phones

Pune, 20 July 2021: Unit 2 Crime Branch of Pune City Police has recovered 74 mobile phones worth Rs 13.45 lakh, which people had lost while travelling for work in the city. Complaints in this regard were lodged online on the Lost and Found portal on the Pune Police website.

After the citizens lodged online complaint, correspondence was sent to the concerned mobile companies accordingly. After that 74 mobile phones were traced in various areas, then the police informed the mobile users. The phones were returned to their owners.

The action was taken by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Srinivas Ghadge, ACP Surendranath Deshmukh, Inspector Mahendra Jagtap.

The team included API Prakash More, Vaishali Bhosale, Yashwant Ambre, Aslam Pathan, Kishore Vaggu, Sanjay Jadhav, Namdev Renuse, Mohsin Sheikh, Chetan Gore, Chandrakant Mahajan, Uttam Taru, Nikhil Jadhav, Sameer Patel, Gajanan Sonune, Mitesh Chormole, Kadir Sheikh, Gopal Madane, Ajit Farande and Aruna Shinde.
