Pune: Special Court Additional Public Prosecutor Caught Taking Bribe By Anti-Corruption Bureau
Rajgurunagar, 14th July 2021: The sleuths from the Anti-corruption bureau (ACB), Pune unit, today caught an additional public prosecutor red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 3,500. The incident took place at Khed special court.
The process of registering a case against additional public prosecutor Devendra Madhukar Sonis is going on at Khed police station.
According to ACB, the accused government lawyer demanded a bribe of Rs 5000 to help an accused get bail. However, the matter was reported to ACB which laid a trap and caught Sonis today. He accepted bribe of Rs 3500.
