Pune: No Vaccination At PCMC Centres On Friday Due To Vaccine Shortage

Pimpri, 1st July 2021: “All the citizens should take note that all the vaccination centres of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will be closed on Friday (July 2) due to non-availability of Covid 19 vaccine stocks”, PCMC stated in a press release.

 

 

As per guidelines received from Central and State Governments on Covid 19 Vaccination, Health workers are being vaccinated (HCW) from 16th January 2021, Leading Staff – Front Line Workers (FLW) from 02nd February, Citizens above 60 years from 01st March 2021 and Citizens above 45 years of age from 1st April 2021. Covid vaccination of citizens in the age group of 18 to 44 years has been started from 01 May 2021.

 

As per the government guidelines, action is being taken to vaccinate the citizens at the immunization centre of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. However, the vaccination centres will remain closed on Friday due to vaccine shortage.
