Imran Khan Told Pakistani Filmmakers Not To Copy Bollywood

New Delhi, 28th June 2021: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has appealed to the filmmakers of his country not to copy Bollywood and make their own content. He said this during a short film festival in Islamabad. That many Pakistani dramas and films have been made on Bollywood films. The people of Pakistan like Bollywood actors and films very much.

 

Imran Khan said during the event that instead of copying Bollywood, make original content. He said that the Pakistani film industry has made mistakes by being influenced by Bollywood earlier. As a result, copying other countries has become the culture here.

 

According to the report of Dawn newspaper, Imran said, I want to tell young filmmakers from my worldwide experience that only originals are sold. Copy doesn’t matter. He told the importance of original content and requested the Pakistani film industry to start thinking in a new way. He also said that obscenity came from Hollywood, reached Bollywood and all this is being promoted here too.

 

Imran Khan said that due to the influence of Hollywood and Bollywood culture in Pakistan, local content is not seen. He asked the young filmmaker to make original content keeping all this in mind and not be afraid of failure. He said that one who is afraid to fail, he can never win. Indian actors Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan has a tremendous fan following in Pakistan. There is tremendous viewership of Bollywood movies in Pakistan.
