COVID19: Sputnik Vaccine Now Available In Pune

Pune, 25th June 2021: After Covishield and Covaxin, now Sputnik vaccine is also available in Pune. The city received 600 doses of this vaccine and the first dose of the vaccine in Maharashtra was given to a 36-year-old man in Galaxy hospital, said Dr Shailesh Puntambekar, medical director of the hospital.

He said that after the arrival of the vaccine, in the first phase, the vaccine was given to employees of Dr Reddy’s lab. The vaccine dose will be available to Puneites from 28th June. To take the vaccine, pre-registration is mandatory on the Cowin app or portal.

There are two doses of the vaccine and the second dose will be given after 21 days. The cost for the vaccine is Rs 1142, said Dr Puntambekar.
