Pune: Lonavala City Get 148 mm Rainfall In Last 24 Hours

Lonavala, 18th June 2021: In the last 24 hours, Lonavala city received 148 mm rainfall, while the Pavana dam area got 74 mm rainfall.

On Thursday, there was continuous rain throughout the day. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Maharashtra in the next three days.

According to Lonavala municipal council, this year there has been 539 mm rainfall in Lonavala city. Last year for the same period there was 392 mm rainfall.

The storage in Pavana dam which supplies water to Maval taluka as well as to Pimpri Chinchwad city has increased by 0.33% in the last 24 hours. At present, the dam has 29.6% water in its reservoir.
