MIDC Bhosari Police Collect Rs 35,000 Fine From 70 Citizens For ‘Morning Walk’

Pune, 22nd May 2021: In order to rein in people roaming around unnecessarily, Pimpri Chinchwad Police have launched a crackdown. At 12 nakabandi points, a rapid antigen test rapid antigen test (RAT) for Coronavirus disease (COVID19) is being done on people found on roads.

Meanwhile, officials from MIDC Bhosari Police Station today found 70 people roaming unnecessarily in the name of the morning walk at PCNTDA Circle in Moshi. They were taken to the police station and each of them was made to pay a Rs 500 fine.

The action was taken under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Manchak Ipper, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr Sagar Kavade and Senior Police Inspector Shivaji Gaware. The team included Police Inspector (Crime) Pradip Patil, PSI Amol Dere and police personnel Dinesh Munde, Poona Hagwane, Jaideep Khambat, Sagar Koli and Sunil Koli.
