Car Catches Fire On Pune-Mumbai Expressway

Pune, 20th May 2021: A car caught fire on the Pune-Mumbai expressway. The incident took place today (Thursday) at around 3 pm near Somatane Toll Naka.

According to the highway police, a car was going from Pune to Mumbai. After the car reached near Somatane Toll Naka (69 km) smoke started to come out from the engine. The driver immediately parked the car to the side.

Soon the car caught fire and caused major damage before it was extinguished. Nobody is injured in the incident.
