Central Government Issues Revised Guidelines For Home Isolation

Pune, 19th May 2021: As there is an increase in the number of Coronavirus infected patients and many of them are advised to stay in the home isolation, the central government issued revised guidelines for home isolation on Tuesday (18th May).

In Maharashtra, there are 37 lakh people currently under home isolation. The person showing minor symptoms of the virus is advised to stay in home isolation.

According to the revised guidelines, the patient in home isolation must have a separate room attached to the bathroom. Old age person or patients with co-morbidity should be granted to stay in home isolation only after consulting the doctor.

There must be a person available full time to take care of the patients and one must contact the patients regularly.

The patient should compulsorily use 3 layered masks while staying at home and change it after every 8 hours. Thing like table, door handles should be clean with disinfectant. The person taking care of the patient can consume a Hydroxychloroquine tablet. The isolation period will be over after ten days if the patient does not experience any surfing.
