Pune: Divisional Commissioner Test COVID19 Positive For 2nd Time Even After Second Dose Of Vaccine
Pune, 18th May 2021: Despite taking both doses of the vaccine, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao has tested positive with Coronavirus for the second time, informed by the Divisional Commissioner’s Office.
Earlier in March, Rao was diagnosed with coronavirus. Just after taking the 1st dose of the vaccine, he was infected with the virus. He recovered from the illness and also started administrative work. He then took the second dose of the vaccine on Friday (14th May). He got a fever and decided to have a check-up. This time, his report was once again positive.
Rao attended a few daily administrative meetings and a weekly corona review meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Now all administrative officials will have to test for the virus.
