250 Youths To Work As Special Police Officers For Assisting Loni Kalbhor Station

Pune, 11th May 2021: In order to increase the manpower to enforce the lockdown rules, Pune city police has appointed 250 special police officers (SPO) to assist Loni Kalbhor police station. They will help in enforcing lockdown rules and COVID appropriate behaviour.
A program was held at Prithviraj Kapoor High School in Loni on Tuesday to appoint the SPOs. Senior police officers including Additional CP (East region) Namdev Chavan, DCP (Zone 5) Namrata Patil, ACP (Hadapsar division) Kalyanrao Vidhate and Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Mokashi, in-charge of Loni Kalbhor police station, were present on the occasion.
The youths will work with the police in areas like Loni Kalbhor, Kadamwadkvasti, Theur, Kunjirwadi, Uruli Kanchan and Uruli Devachi.
