PCMC: 3 Lakh People Vaccinated In Pimpri-Chinchwad, About 100 Vaccination Centres Operational

Pimpri, 19th April 2021: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) had completed the vaccination of 3 lakh citizens of its area.

The Vaccination is being carried out at 62 municipal and 29 private vaccination centres in Pimpri Chinchwad. Registered health care providers, front-line workers, and citizens above 45 years of age are being vaccinated.

 

The PCMC had crossed the one lakh mark on March 23. Since then, two lakh people have been vaccinated on April 6 and more than three lakh on April 17.

The first dose has been taken by 23,889 health care providers, while 11, 554 people have taken the second dose. Of the front-line workers, 24,189 people took the first dose, while 6,646 have taken their second dose. Total 1.24 lakh citizens in the age group of 45 to 60 years have taken the first dose and 2.843 lakh citizens have taken the second dose. 1.1 lakh citizens above 60 years of age have taken the first dose and 28, 819 citizens have taken the second dose.

 

600 more oxygen beds will be added within the next 10 days, says PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil

 

Out of the total 3.3 lakh people, 2.74 lakh people have taken the first dose of the vaccine and 28, 819 people have taken the second dose.
