Coronavirus: 40,414 New Cases In Maharashtra, 108 Deaths

Mumbai, March 28, 2021: A total of 17,874 patients were discharged and 40,414 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 108 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 27,13,875 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 23,32,453 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2%. As of today, there are 3,25,901 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 85.95% while the fatality rate in the state is 2%. Currently, 15,56,476 people are in home quarantine and 15,852 people are in institutional quarantine

Out of 1,93,58,341 laboratory samples 27,13,875 have been tested positive (14.02%) for COVID-19 until today.
