Pune Railway Board Organises International Summit On Human Resources

Pune, March 19, 2021: Indian Railways International on Human Resources Summit was organized by the Pune Division of Central Railway on Friday. The summit was inaugurated by Chairman Railway Board and Chief Executive Officer Sunit Sharma. The summit aims to improve the efficiency of the Indian Railways through human resource best practice. The impact of growth in agriculture, finance, and other industries of reforms, along with the human resources of the Indian Railways was discussed at the summit. It provided new ideas and best practices for future policy frameworks. New technical ideas and experiences, solutions for the training of Indian Railways employees were shared.

Director-General H.R. Railway, Dr. Anand S. Khati, General Manager of Central Railway Mr. Sanjeev Mittal, Principal Chief Personnel Officer of Central Railway, Dr. A.K. Sinha, Divisional Railway Manager Mrs. Renu Sharma, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer with Dr. Tushaba Shinde, State Government, Corporate Sector, International and National Prominent speakers from universities attended the summit.

Mr. Sunit Sharma addressing the summit congratulated the staff of the Pune division on organizing such an important summit. He said, “The program of HRMS was implemented on Indian Railways two years ago. We have digitized service records and other data. Any organization scientific and rational cannot prosper without logical technique. That’s why it is very important for us to pay attention to technology. Our focus should be on doing effective work rather than efficient work.”
