Pune: Dalit Panther of India Protest Against Forced Recovery Of Electricity Bills
Pune, 15th March 2021: Dalit Panther of India (Maharashtra State) protested at Pune District Officer’s Office today against the forced recovery of the electricity bills.
The price of gas, petrol, and diesel has increased drastically, and electricity consumers in Maharashtra were given extra electricity bills on the pretext of lockdown by MSEDCL. Moreover, the MSEDCL has stated that people will have power outages if they fail to pay bills.
Dalit Panther of India, under the leadership of National President Bapusaheb Bhosale, has carried out a state-wide mass agitation. They have condemned the actions of MSEDCL and called it an injustice to the farmer and the common man.
Mahadev Gaikwad Pune City President, Vijay Bhalerao President Western Maharashtra, Sanghraj Gaikwad President Pune District, Draupadi Patil President Women’s Front Pune, Gangatai Sen President Pimpri Chinchwad Women’s Front, Rahul Bhosale, Rafiq Inamdar, Pinku Zende, Mehboob Maniar, Javed Sheikh, etc. were present in the protest.
