Fine and Dine Restaurant Comes up with Antique Theme

Pune – With an effort to provide overall leisure experience to the connoisseurs of food, beverages and entertainment, the Salt One restaurant has come up with unique offerings in the Ghotavade village. The themed restaurant focuses on the antiquities and will provide an ambiance of soothing music, exquisite drinks and a variety of cuisines that promises the value for money for the lovers of food and frolic.

Set in the scenic environs of the Ghotavade village hills, the fine dine and restaurant has already attracted a good fan following thanks to the word of mouth publicity. It has created a niche for itself  among the IT public of neighboring Hinjewadi IT park even before its official launch and is now set to treat the general public. The plans are afoot to give a lofty makeover to its already elegant look by providing a garden, a music lounge and an enhancement of the infrastructure.

Tapas Hegde, the young manager of the restaurant with 10-plus years of experience in the hospitality sector, said, “The bon vivants coming here come not only to satiate their hunger but to enjoy the life to its fullest and relieve their stress. We have taken every care to offer them all avenues possible in fulfilling their needs. For any restaurant, food is the basic element to attract the customers and we have left no stone unturned in enriching it. A cross-section of customers have appreciated our offerings and we are constantly striving to make it diverse as well as inventive.”

With a blend of Indian, Chinese and continental food, the offerings at the Salt One include such novel gastronomy as Chicken Chettinad, Chicken Patiyala, Chicken Mangalorean Curry, Lasuni Kabab, Mutton Gilafi Kabab in the non-veg section and Shahi Paneer Afghani, Veg Roti Kabab as also Bhindi Rajsthani in the veg section. The gourmet is crowned by the mocktails like Virgin Pinawlada and deserts like Sizzling Brownie. What is more, the foodies can enjoy their meal with assorted drinks and beverages.

According to Hegde, a third-generation hotelier, the plans are afoot to create a mood of ancientness as well as amusement with facilities like a buggy dinner, a garden for the party besides many other additions.

 After doing his MBA in Pune, he decided to put his education and experience in developing this spot. “As of now, we are catering to around 100 customers daily. Soon, we will have the take-away facility. We expect all the infrastructural work to be completed in about two months. Once completed, the place will be a one stop destination for the stress busters, party goers and fine diners as well,” Hegde expressed confidence.

Sudhakar Kottiyan, an old hand in hotel industry with an experience of over two decades, is the general manager of the Salt  One. He said, “Salt One is built on our expertise in the hospitality industry in Pune. Salt One is our endeavor to diversify in the leisure and entertainment arena.The response we have got so far proves that the need for such a place of outing was felt for long. Food is our Unique Selling Point while the ambiance and facilities give an added advantage for those who want to take some time out from their daily grill”.
