Aditya Vikram Birla Memorial Trust in association with Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation laid foundation stone for Gandhi Peace Center
PCMC, 19th February 2021: A social initiative of Aditya Vikram Birla Memorial Trust and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation together laid foundation stone for Gandhi Peace Center successfully today. The occasion was graced by Shrimati Maaie Dhore, Mayor, PCMC Pune and Shri Santosh Londhe, Standing committee Chairman. Gandhi Peace Center aims to instill Mahatma Gandhi’s vision and principles in everyone.
Shrimati Maaie Dhore, Mayor, PCMC Pune, said, “I am thankful to Aditya Vikram Birla Memorial Trust and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for their dedicated support towards this initiative. I pay my respects to Mahatma Gandhi and this peace center will provide a platform to educate people about life and work of Gandhiji.”
