Pune: Police Constable Molests Woman After Promising To Help Her Brother In A Case
Pune, February 16, 2021: A police constable allegedly molested a girl on the pretext to help her brother who was arrested for a crime. A case of molestation has been registered against the constable at Bundgarden police station.
A 27-year-old girl has lodged a complaint in this regard. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Dadaram Takmode. Takmode is posted at the police headquarters.
According to the police, a case has been registered against the victim’s brother at Swargate police station. He was arrested and was in police custody at Bundgarden police station. At that time, accused Takmode contacted the girl under the pretext of helping her. After that, he was constantly calling the girl.
The accused took the girl to a lodge near Pune railway station on December 24, 2020, under the pretext of showing her a marriage place, he molested the girl. She then went to the police and lodged a complaint. Bundgarden police are investigating the matter further.
