Pune: Accused Runs Away From Yerwada Police Station Before Being Taken To Andaman Island

Pune, January 28, 2021: An accused fled from Yerwada police station premises by threatening to run over police van on constables.

Utkarsh Patil, a resident of Kalyaninagar, is an accused in a cheque bounce case. Port Bliar first-class magistrate court had issued a warrant against him. He was arrested and brought to the police station. Before presenting him before the court, covid test, medical examination and other documents were to be made.

The accused faking pain in hand pushed constable More and ran away with the police van by threatening the policemen to run over them.

Police Naik Vinayak Ulga Mudholkar has registered a complaint against him.
