Kharadi: 1644 Bottles Blood Collected At Blood Donation Camp On Republic Day

Pune, January 28, 2021: Surendra Pathare Foundation had organised a blood donation camp on the occasion of Republic day which received a massive response from the youngsters. In the camp, 1644 bottles of blood were donated.

The camp attracted a large number of people but with proper planning and maintaining social distancing, the camp followed all Covid-19 protocols.

After the health check-up for every donor only eligible people were allowed to donate blood. Every blood donor was given a certificate and breakfast. Sassoon Sarvopchar Hospital Blood Bank, Red plus Blood Bank, and Aadhar Blood Bank were compiling the collected blood from the donors. Former MLA Bapusaheb Pathare along with all the leaders of this organisation and eminent citizens greeted the Foundation and Surendra Pathare for organising this grand blood donation camp.

Surendra Pathare said, “The foundation was started to enable every component of the society. The state is facing problems due to the prevalence of Coronavirus. Governance, various organizations are constantly appealing for blood donation. Keeping this in mind, we organized this camp to help the Arogya Seva. There was a desire to greet the nation on the occasion of Republic day by donating blood. The appeal made by the Foundation was very well received by the youth and citizens, so I am very happy. A large number of people joined the camp from all over the city along with Kharadi. In the future, more social utility ventures will be undertaken by the foundation.”
