13-Year-Old Boy’s Sex Changed, Hormones Given To Look Like Girl, Then 6 People Used To Gang Rape

Delhi, January 15, 2021: A very painful and heartbreaking incident came to light from the Geeta Colony area of Delhi. Here, a 13-year-old child was forced to change sex and gang-raped for a long time. After the intervention of the Delhi Women’s Commission, an FIR has been registered in this case.

The child met the accused at a dance program in Laxmi Nagar about three years ago. There the accused befriended Shubham (name changed) and then lured him to Mandavali on the pretext of teaching him a dance. Shubham participated in the dance program for some time and the accused initially gave him some money. After some time Shubham was then forced to live and work there. Substances were given to Shubham there and in a few days, he was forced to undergo a sex-change operation. At that time, Shubham was just 13 years old.

Shubham stated that he was also given hormones after the operation, which would make him look completely like a girl. The accused and his friends started gang-raping Shubham. The matter did not end here. The accused and his friends started calling customers from outside, who raped him. Shubham was also forced to beg on the street. Shubham said that the accused themselves used to wear clothes of women to pose as prostitutes and used to snatch their money by beating the visiting customers.

Threatened to kill: Shubham was threatened that if he tried to escape, he and his family would be killed. A few months later, an acquaintance of Shubham was also brought there. Shubham knew that person beforehand since he worked as a caterer where Shubham used conduct dance programs. When Shubham was sent to the market by the accused, he used to go to meet his mother, but due to fear, he did not complain to the police.

According to the police, one day after the lockdown in March 2020, Shubham and his friend somehow escaped and reached Shubham’s mother. Shubham’s mother got both of them to stay in a rented house, where both the victims and Shubham’s parents and brothers started living, but somehow the accused found their address in December and barged into their home. After barging in, they beat him up and took him away along with various possessions like his money, etc.

Mother was also threatened: The two were gang-raped by the four accused. Shubham’s mother was also threatened by the accused with a gun. Two days later, Shubham and his friend escaped from there and hid in the New Delhi railway station. The next day, when a lawyer found the children there, she took them to Delhi Women Commission to file a complaint. Shubham said that the police had been repeatedly pressurizing him to withdraw the complaint and was scaring him that if a case was registered, he would also have to go to jail.

Delhi Women’s Commission member Sarika Chaudhary took immediate action in the case and registered an FIR in the case. A case has been registered under the case under unnatural sex, the kidnapping of a minor, causing injury with a deadly weapon, threatening to kill with the information, hostage, and the POCSO Act. According to the information received from the police, two accused in this case have been arrested, the search is on for the rest.

Delhi Women’s Commission will rehabilitate: The Delhi Commission for Women is providing legal assistance to both the victims and is also working for their rehabilitation and protection. Shubham met Swati Maliwal, the chairperson of the Delhi Women’s Commission, and told her his painful story. Swati Maliwal said that this case is very serious and shocking. At the age of 13, a small child was forcibly converted to gang rape after being forced into sex and was pushed into the trade of prostitution. It looks like a huge racket. Investigation of this racket is very important.
