Pune: Prisoner Released On Parole Tries To Molest Minor Girl

Pune, January 8, 2021: A prisoner released from Yerwada Jail on parole for a few days tried to molest a minor girl and threatened to kill her. The incident took place on Thursday (January 7) at 12:30 pm at Kadamwakavasti (Haveli) when the victim was alone at home.

The complaint was lodged by the victim’s relative with Loni Kalbhor police against Sachin Subhash Kadam (45), resident of Loni station, Kadam Wak Wasti, Taluka Haveli.

Meanwhile, accused Sachin Kadam had escaped before the case was registered. However, Sub Inspector Sandeep Borkar arrested the accused within an hour and a half, said Loni Kalbhor senior police inspector Suraj Bandgar.

According to police, the victim was alone at home around 12.30 pm on Thursday. Kadam entered the house and tried to get intimate with her. When the girl tried to shout for help, Kadam shut her mouth with his hand. He also threatened to kill her. But as soon as the girl tried to escape from Kadam’s clutches, he ran out of the house.
The girl alerted her relatives and informed them of the incident. The victim’s relatives immediately rushed to the Loni Kalbhor police station and lodged a complaint against Kadam.
Further investigation is being conducted by Sub-Inspector of Police Sandeep Borkar under the guidance of Inspector of Police Suraj Bandgar.
