Pune, January 4, 2021: Loni Kalbhor police has filed a case against a builder for encroaching a wall by occupying more land than allotted for development. The case was filed against Mahendra Patil (resident of Fatimanagar), the owner of PS Construction. In this case, Dr Nazim Rafi Shaikh (61), resident of Rasta Peth, has filed the complaint.

According to the police, Dr Shaikh has 18 R areas in the survey number 98/1 in Handewadi-Autadewadi village in Haveli taluka. He has purchased 35 R areas in survey number 99/1. About 4 to 5 years ago, he gave some land to Mahendra Patil for development. While the doctor was there, Patil found a survey no. It was found that a partial stone wall was built on a 99/ 1 R area in Dr Shaikh’s property.

When Shaikh asked Patil about this wall constructed in his area, Patil said that he had built the wall temporarily and would remove it. Since he had a good relationship with Patil, Shaikh did not say anything about it. Since he did not remove the wall for many days, Shaikh called two engineers and measured the area. It was then asserted that Patil had encroached on 10 R area. At that time, Mahendra Patil said he would break the wall.

However, on the afternoon of December 29, 2020, Patil insulted  Shaikh by saying that the place was his. He was also seen levelling the area. After that, Shaikh rushed to Loni Kalbhor police station. According to Shaikh’s complaint, police filed a case against PS Construction’s owner Mahendra Patil under sections 447, 504 and 506. Loni Kalbhor police are investigating further.
