Pune: Death Audit Committees To Be Set Up At All Covid Hospitals
Pune, November 13, 2020: Maharashtra State government has directed to form the death audit committee at every Covid hospitals. The step is seen to stop the deaths by COVID.
The committee will have the hospital medical superintendent, paediatrician, physician, public health officers among others. Though, the number of Covid cases have declined the death due to it is yet high. Thus, to understand it, the committee has been set-up.
Currently, the death audits are conducted only at government hospitals and a few private hospitals, but there is lack of information regarding the deaths, thus, now the committees are set-up at all the COVID hospitals.
