Nikita Murder Case: SIT filed Chargesheet In Record Time, Love Jihad Angle Not Included

Pune, November 6 2020: On Friday, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed a chargesheet in the local court in connection with the murder of Nikita Tomar, a college student in Ballabhgarh, adjacent to Delhi.

In the 700-page charge sheet filed by the SIT in the court, 60 people have been made witnesses in this murder case. The SIT in record time (only 11 days), has prepared a chargesheet and filed it in the court.

The police have not included the angle of Love Jihad in the chargesheet. Mobile phones of Tausif and Nikita have been sent for investigation. If anything about Love Jihad comes to light, a supplementary charge sheet will be introduced.

Chargesheet has been prepared by experienced research officers on the basis of digital, forensic and material evidence so that the accused does not survive any situation. Faridabad Police Commissioner OP Singh closely observed the chargesheet. Not only this, every legal aspect of the case was thoroughly scrutinized by senior legal experts. It is being told that based on digital and forensic science evidence and eyewitness and other strong evidence, the accused will be punished soon.

On the evening of 26 October, Nikita, a college student returning home with her friend, was shot dead by the main accused Tausif outside the gate of Aggarwal College. His partner Rehan was also involved in carrying out this incident. Both the accused escaped from the car after committing the crime. This entire incident is captured in CCTV.

It is being told that in this case only the section of murder was charged earlier. The SIT has also added kidnappings for murder, coercion for marriage and conspiracy clauses during the investigation.
