New Delhi, November 3, 2020: Faisal Khan was caught for reading Namaz in a temple in Mathura. He has been arrested by the UP Police from Jamia Nagar in Delhi. A case has been registered against four people in this regard.

On October 29, four people came to the Nand Baba temple in Mathura. Two of these people misled the servants of the temple and read Namaz in the temple premises. In this case, an FIR was lodged in Barsana police station under sections 153A, 295, 505. The complaint was lodged by the temple administration. The FIR said that putting such photos on social media has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community and has deeply hurt their faith.

At the same time, in a conversation with Aaj Tak, Faisal Khan said that they did not read Namaz by deceiving anyone. They read it in front of everyone. Many people were present there and no one stopped them from doing so.

“There is no conspiracy by reading Namaz. The FIR has been registered for political reasons. We read the Namaz in the temple courtyard after asking for it. People were present there and if someone would have scolded or refused us, then we wouldn’t have read Namaz there. Namaz was read for goodwill and we did nothing wrong. We did not even put a photo on social media”, Khan said.

This case has come to light in Mathura when the case of Krishna Janmabhoomi situated there and the mosque built near it has reached the court. Recently, some organizations have appealed to remove the Idgah mosque in Mathura and have filed a petition in the Mathura district court, which is to be heard in November itself.
