Pune City: 133 New Covid Cases, 154 Discharged Today
Pune, November 02, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 154 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 133 new patients were detected while 15 people died today. Today swab samples of 1176 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 161,844 out of which 151,889 have been cured while 4259 have died. There are still 5696 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 546 critical patients out of which 324 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8,229,313 across the country. Out of this, 75,44,798 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 122,607 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 561,908 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
