President of India’s message on the eve of national day of Pakistan

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the eve of their National Day (March 23, 2016).

In his message to His Excellency Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has said, “Please accept my greetings on the occasion of the National Day of Pakistan.

India remains committed to peaceful, friendly and cooperative relations with Pakistan. I am of the firm conviction that our cooperation will lead to progress and prosperity in our region.

I take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for your good health and well-being”.
