Post-COVID OPD At These Five Hospitals In Pune

Pune, October 2, 2020: Providing the care and counselling to the patients who have recovered from Covid-19, Out Patient Department (OPD) will be started at five hospitals in Pune city, said Maharashtra deputy chief minister and Pune district guardian minister Ajit Pawar.

The care and counselling will be provided at both the Jumbo COVID hospital in Shivajinagar and Pimpri, Sassoon General Hospital, Baner COVID Centre and Naidu Infectious Disease Hospital. In a meeting at the council hall today, Pawar directed to start such OPD’s in the city first and then in the rural areas.

Pawar also appealed to the people that they should come forward and get themselves checked if they are feeling unwell or have a cough and cold symptoms. He also directed to make use of the directives given by Ayush Ministry regarding Covid-19 care.

He directed to take action if someone found overcharging while giving the medical treatment. He said that the companies should follow the guidelines to stop the spread of the virus among the company workers. Under ‘My family, my responsibility’, the door-to-door survey must be carried out which will help us to locate the patients and can be given timely medical help, Pawar said.
