Pune: All admin staff of NCL quarantined after employee found COVID positive
Pune, July 1, 2020: The Coronavirus Disease (COVID) rampant doesn’t seem to stop. Pune’s National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pashan road, encounters its first COVID case today.
The number of COVID cases in Pune district has been increasing rapidly. As the city slowly starts to unlock, the cases seem to have been on a rise. On Wednesday, first case of COVID was found in NCL. The infected employee worked in the admin department of the institution. The entire administration office staff has been asked to quarantine.
National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, established in 1950, is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
