PCMC: 115 new Corona cases today, 20 people discharged in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, June 22, 2020: Till 8.30 pm today, a total of 115 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported from different parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 20 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured, while three persons died.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1897 out of which 1079 have been cured while 33 have died. 785 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 72 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in YCM hospital in Pimpri. Till now 24 non-PCMC residents have died while 115 have been cured. Out of total active cases, there are 604 Asymptomatic Positive patients, 151 are Symptomatic Positive Patients and 28 Critical Patients.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 135796. Today, newly 3721 patients have been identified as positive while 62 people died. 1962 patients have been cured today. Till now 67706 patients are cured & discharged from the hospitals while 6283 people have lost their lives. There still 61793 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 425281 across the country. Out of this, 237195 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 13699 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 174387 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
