Businessman’s wife booked for stealing Rs 2 crore from house with help of male friend
Pune, June 6, 2020: A shocking case has come to light in which a businessman’s wife stole Rs 2 crore from the house over the last one year with the help of her male friend. The incident took place at Bibvewadi. A case has been registered against both of them with Bibvewadi police station, Pune city police.
The 33-year-old businessman has lodged a complaint against them. The incident took place between June 2019 and May 2020. According to Police Inspector (Crime) Murlidhar Khokale, the complainant is a well-known businessman. He married the accused woman in 2016. Before marriage, she was acquainted with a young man. They had contact even after marriage.
Meanwhile, since June 2019, cash has been stolen from the businessman’s house. The gold ornaments kept in the house were also stolen. After it was discovered that money was being stolen from the house, the businessman began to pay serious attention. At that time, he noticed that his wife had done all this. Accordingly, he lodged a complaint with the police.
