MIM MLA Imtiaz Jaleel demands arrest of hooligans involved in murderous assault on Latur Muslim ASI

Latur:   A delegation of the Majlise ittehadul Muslimeen led by party Aurangabad Mla Imtiaz jaleel held protest dharna at the statue of mahatma Gandhi in Latur demanding immediate arrest and stern action against the culprits involved in beating up a police assistant sub inspector.

The ASI shaikh Yunus was mercilessly beaten by about 100 men from saffron outfits since he had stopped them from hoisting saffron flag on a disputed site. Irked, they barged into the police chowki and beat him up with iron rods and forcing him to hold saffron flag they paraded him on the streets of pangaon, some 30 kms from Latur. The badly injured policeman has since been admitted to the hospital.

The MIM delegation met the Latur sp dr dnyaneshwar Chavan and demanded stringent action against the culprits.
Imtiaz jaleel also visited the govt hospital and met the victim and his family and assured them of full cooperation. The 56 year old ASI who is still in a state of shock said he would not continue in service anymore and would tender his resignation to the govt.

The MIM delegation comprised party leaders mr syed Moin, mr Mohammed ali, corporators from Aurangabad municipal corporation.
