Award for Excellence in Healthcare Management to Aruna Kelkar

Pune 26th November 2019: Aruna Kelkar, the Founder Trustee and CEO of the ‘National Institute of Ophthalmology, Pune, India was recently awarded for the Excellence in Healthcare Management at the Golden Globe Health & Education Conference and Awards held at the Hotel Flora Creek, Dubai recently.

Aruna Kelkar is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute of Ophthalmology (NIO) established in 1993. Since 1993, NIO has achieved remarkable growth with the largest pool of specialized staff. The hospital annually screens around 6,0000 out patients and performs around 5000 surgeries. It is the one of the first NABH and JCI quality standard certified hospital in Pune.NIO has another Unit in Pune at Aundh.
