Pune Engineer Chaitalee Patil takes home the crown of ‘Mrs India – Empress of the Nation’
Pune, September 13, 2019 : Pune engineer, Chaitalee Patil won hearts and the crown at the recently held ‘Mrs India – Empress of the Nation 2019’ pageant, held at Hyatt Pune. She also bagged the title of ‘Top Model 2019’.
“It was my childhood dream to participate in a beauty pageant and bring home the crown. Even during my college days I participated and won three beauty contests. Today my dream became a reality after winning not one but two prestigious titles, at a national pageant”, beams Chaitalee, who is a successful civil engineer, currently working at Thyssenkrupp Industries India.
The pageant was organised by Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas of DIVA Pageants. 42 women from across India made it to the list of finalists, amongst whom Chaitalee was the winner in the Silver category.
The contest was conducted in 5 phases – talent round, photoshoot, introduction, ramp walk with traditional and western attire and the Q&A session.
The eminent jury comprised of Ashmit Patel (Film Actor), Mugdha Godse (Actress & Model), Aditi Govitrikar (Actress, Model & Mrs World 2001), Karl Mascarenhas, Piya Pawani, Gaurangi Shrawat, Simran Godhwani, Kamal Sharma, Hyatt & Dr. Rachna Sharma.
Chaitalee credits her success to her family, friends, colleagues from Thyssenkrupp, her mentors Karl and Anjana Mascarenhas and her husband Dr Sanket Patil who is a specialist dentist practicing in Pune.
