MPs meeting with General Manager, Central Railway held at Pune
28 Aug 2019, Pune : A. K. Gupta, General Manager, Central Railway along with Principal Head of the Departments & Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of Pune and Solapur Divisions held at DRM Office, Pune on 28.08.2019.
Girish Bapat, Shrirang Appa Barne, Amar Shankar Sable,Dhairyasheel S. Mane, Dr. Jay Sidheshwar S. Mahaswami, Dr. Umesh Jadhav, Om Raje Nimbalkar, Sudhakar Thukaram Shrangare, Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar, Hon’ble Members of Parliament from Pune and Solapur divisions discussed about Railway Projects, Developmental Works completed & in progress and various other issues including Passenger amenities on Railways with General Manager, Central Railway & other officers.
The General Manager welcomed all Hon’ble MPs in his address and commended their cooperation and motivation in completing the projects, further said under their guidance will serve the esteemed passengers with better amenities. He further assured all suggestions of Hon’ble MPs will be fulfilled at our level best. A number of issues including New Trains, Doubling of line, Stoppages, Extension of Platforms, LED lighting, Escalators, Lifts at Stations, New FOBs, , Water Vending Machines, Free WiFi at stations, UTS, Plastic bottle crushing machines were discussed.
Hon’ble MPs thanked Central Railway and appreciated the good works done in both the Divisions. Hon’ble MPs also emphasized that all major infrastructural works like doubling, new lines, electrification may be given special attention. General Manager assured for the same.
Earlier, General Manager welcomed the Hon’ble Member of Parliament with bouquet, shawl and Shrifal. DRM, Pune Milind Deouskar and DRM, Solapur Hitendra Malhotra gave presentation on their respective divisions. D. K. Singh, Principal Chief Operations Manager, B. K. Dadabhoy, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Rajeev Mishra, C.E (Construction), Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway were also present in this meeting.Dinesh Kumar Vashisht, Deputy General Manager conducted the proceedings of this meeting.
