Maharashtra : Medical and dental care camps to be organized in 26 districts from August 26 to 29

Mumbai, 25.Aug.19: To provide specialist doctor and healthcare to the patients in tribal areas of the state, medical and dental care camps have been organized in the state during August 26 to 29. People should take benefit of these camps, appealed Health Minister Eknath Shinde.

 

He further informed that inauguration ceremony of this camp will be conducted at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis and Shivsena Chief Uddhav Thackray, at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane at 11 am on August 26.

 

District level health checkup camps will be held in sixteen districts Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Nagpur, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Nanded, Amravati, Yavatmal, Nashik, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Pune and Ahmednagar. Facilities like expert doctor’s advice, health checkup, medical tests, free medicines and treatments, necessary surgeries and dentistry, will be provided through these camps, stated Health Minister.

 

“Around 14 types of specialist doctors will be available to the masses and to the needy patients in the last components of the society through the services of the health checkup cap organized under the project “Sankalp Nirogi Maharashtracha”. Awareness will be raised on various parts like nutrition, sickle cell, anemia, hygiene and program of National Health Mission at the camp site. Efforts are being made to provide relief to the patients in tribal areas by providing specialist doctors services” said Mr. Eknath Shinde at this time.
