OPENING OF ‘ROTI MAKER’ MACHINE AT SASOON HOSPITAL’S KITCHEN RUN BY DAGDUSHETH HALWAI TRUST

3 April 2019, Pune: Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust, one of the leading social working groups in Pune provides food service to patients and their relatives at the sasoon hospital under the jai ganesh patient service movement over many years. The kitchen under this movement was donated with a roti maker machine by the Indira group of institutes on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. The roti maker machine has an output of 1000 rotis in an hour thus providing a huge surplus in food to patients and their relatives.

The campaign has been running at the kitchen area by Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati trust and Suvarnayug tarun mandal. The opening ceremony of the roti maker machine witnessed the gracious presence of Indira group of institute’s chairman Dr. Tarita Shankar, Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Sasoon’s dean Dr. Sudhir Nanandkar, trusts’ chairman Ashok Godse, Sunil Rasane, Mahesh Suryavanshi, Rajabhau Ghodake, Ulhas Bhat, Mauli Rasane, Balasaheb Satpute, Prakash Chavan, Mangesh Suryavanshi, Saurabh Raykar, Vilas Raykar, Chetan Lodha, Vinakay Rasane, Tanaji Shejwal and many other dignitaries.

Tarita Shankar said that alike Dagdusheth Ganpati trust the Indira group of institutes is also making efforts to conduct various activities for the benefit of the society. Providing quality food is one of the most important factors in working towards the society and we are striving to take one step ahead through the activity in the Sasoon hospital’s kitchen.

Dr. Sudhir Nanandkar said that the trust has been providing food to the patients over many years. The introduction of technology in such activities is highly required. The newly installed machine will procure high volume rotis with speed and efficiency which will be a great boon to the patients.

Ashok Godse said that the trust has initiated this activity to provide food facility to the patients. The installation of this machine will ensure quality food service to the patients. We are obliged to provide clean and quality food. With installation of roti maker and such other equipments, the service will be more efficient. With a capacity to create 1000 rotis in an hour this machine will give a huge boost service towards the patients through the kitchen.
