Telephone Advisory Committee can act as a bridge between BSNL and customers – Anil Shirole

Pune, January 24, 2019 : The image of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) must be improved and the citizen friendly BSNL services should be propagated. The Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC) members will be of great help to act as a bridge between BSNL and customers, said MP Anil Shirole in the 4th meeting of Telephone Advisory Committee held recently in Pune.

MP Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Arvind Vadnerkar, Principal General Manager, Telecom, BSNL-Pune along with other members of Telephone Advisory Committee was present for this meeting.

Shirole said that, BSNL staff is already working towards providing good quality services to the customers, but there is a need to be keen for solving service related queries and complaints. This will in turn help the organization.

Both the MPs assured the house that they will take up issues concerning BSNL such as high rates of RI Charges in PCMC, Right of way for telecom cables, damage to the BSNL assets by various digging activities by different agencies, Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) and Tower allotments in the Rural or Tribal areas etc.

Arvind Vadnerkar gave details about various new schemes, new tariff plans in Landline, Broadband and Mobile. He also stressed that BSNL is in a position to provide high speed broadband on FTTH (Fibre to the Home) services in any part of Pune.
