International seminar on “Emerging Paradigms in Management”   held at Bharati Vidyapeeth

A seminar and an interactive session was conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute Of Management adn Enrepreneurship Development( IMED) on the topic “Emerging Paradigms in Management,On 17th Jan, 2019

The speakers, Dr. Masood Naik and Soniya Billore were felicitated by the Dr. Sachin S. Vernekar(dean,Management Faculty and Director,IMED)

Dr. Masood Naik described about the shift from the traditional to modern ways of management.he presented that there are drastic changes in the modern era due to advancements in technology and how it has impacted our lives, by giving the example of Amazon Prime Air.

Soniya Billore described about how we need to handle the complexity and nuances and how we would want to differentiate our organization from the crowd. She introduced a new topic which was the difference between the ”Red oceans and the Blue oceans” which talked about the market universe.

The red ocean talked about the competitive advantage that the existing industries take in the market. The competition is so intense that we see only blood which depicts that the rivalry is always at its peak. The second topic which was the Blue ocean pointed towards the industries which are not existing today and are not also painted by the competition. She says that the consumers are naive who do not know about their needs but a smart marketer will be able to create demand. She taught us that how culturally embracive and inclusive we should be and should have a level of creativity to create something new.
