27th Free Plastic Surgery camp organised at Sancheti Hospital, Pune

Pune – Services to the needy is the service to the almighty and such camps are a great opportunity to do so, said Commissioner of Police Dr K Venkatesham , on the occasion of 27th Free Plastic Surgery camp organised by Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Sancheti Hospital and Chandmal Munot Trust.

This occasion also marked the presence of Plastic surgeon Dr Larry Weinstein, CEO of Mahindra and Mahindra Limited Mr Vijay Karla & Founder President of BJS Mr Shantilal Mutha, Dr K H Sancheti, Dr Parag Sancheti, Mr Vijay Nair Vice President Admin of Mahindra and Mahindra Limited.

Dr K Venkatesham also added that great work needs a great mind. We get opportunity to do great work only if we learn to shoulder the responsibility and have accountability. It’s only selfless work towards our society that has a positive impact on a society. Individuals whose action have no duration from their plans are the role models of our society. Along with this he emphasised the need of helmet and awareness to traffic rules for a safer and less accident prone transportation.

Mr Vijay Kalra added that Mahindra and Mahindra Limited has also been pivotal role not only in industrial but also in social cause and social welfare. It believes in supporting the cause of offering medical care to the needy people. It is instrumental in providing financial aid for various social welfare issues. Sancheti Hospital is doing a notable work in
serving the mankind by offering such Free camp.

This free plastic surgery camp has acted to about 800 patient various elements such as cleft lip, cleft palate, scar mark on face and other ear and nose deformities of which nearby 250 patients are being operated in this camp over the next 4 days.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with Dr Parag Sancheti speech in which he said that the sapling of services to humility sown 27 years ago has now turned into a huge tree with the perseverance and dedication of the entire team. This noble venture which begin with the foundation of Late Dr Sharad kumar Dixit and Dr K Sancheti will continue and rather grow in leaps and bounds to serve the needy.

Dr K H Sancheti Sir stated that task taken up by Late Dr Sharad Kumar Dixit of serving the mankind will continue here in even in his memory. We must make the most of the opportunity given to us by life as our liabilities can be made our assets.

Mr Shantilal Mutha in is the speech said that this endeavour started 27 years back and has benefited thousands of need patience till date. Sancheti Hospital has undertaken this mission and is successfully offering medical care to the rural masses.
