Ramakrishna, Additional DRM Praful Chandra, Dr Sanjay Athavale, Dr. Avinash Ghatge, Dr Niti  Ahuja, Dr AK Mishra, Dr Navin Kumar, were present besides large number of staffs, and patients relatives, railway doctors, officers, employees’ organizations.

It is noteworthy that the Pune Railway Hospital takes responsibility for the treatment of railway employees and their families and retired railway employees and their families whose number is more than 50,000. In general, complex diseases, including gynecology, infant, heart disease, diabetes, liver, kidney, skin diseases, bone related diseases, eye-related diseases, physician services are provided through specialist doctors. Also the services of specialist surgeons are available here.

However, due to lack of dialysis facility for kidney patients, they had to go to the listed hospitals of the railway. In these hospitals, they had to wait hours for their turn, and the patients were getting very upset.
