Pune hosted 3rd iNFHRA ‘FM EXCELLENCE CONFERENCE & AWARDS 2018-19’

Pune, November 23, 2018: An event to felicitate brilliance and caliber in various sectors of the IT industry- ‘FM EXCELLENCE CONFERENCE & AWARDS 2018-19’ in its 3rd edition, organised by iNFHRA and supported by the leading industry body Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP) was recently held in the city.

iNFHRA is an industry body & member-based association representing more than 5000 members from the Facility Management & Administration, Workplace & Infrastructure, Corporate Travel & Hospitality, Corporate Real Estate, Safety & Security & Procurement professionals. The awards are India’s only Jury Driven Award for the fraternity based on the nominations filed.

The evening saw an august gathering and eminent government officials and association office bearers like Shri Vilas Kanade, Joint Commissioner PMC, Shri Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Director Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Smt. Sonal Bhatwadekar, Joint Director STPI, Pravin Chandra, Jt. DC, SEEPZ, B. S. Chauhan, Specified Officer and Dy. Commissioner SEEPZ, Vidyadhar Purandare, Secretary, SEAP, Adhiraj Gadgil, Suhil Shaikh, Mandeep Wasu, Amit Mupid of iNFHRA. The prominent jury comprised of industry professionals from more than 20 industry leaders of the city.

The winner for Best Project- Architecture were Evolent Health International Pvt. Ltd (SME Category), Knight Frank India Pvt. Ltd, DSP Design Associates (Architect Category). The category for Innovation & Technology winners were Evolent Health International Pvt. Ltd (SME Category), ITPP Hinjawadi (Best IT Park Category) and BMC Software. For Corporate Real Estate the winners were ITPP Hinjawadi (Best IT Park Category) & BMC Software. For Safety & Security the winners were HabO Labs (SME Category), aVance Hinjawadi (Best IT Park Category) & Wipro Ltd. Lastly, Ecological Sustainability and the Corporate Travel winners were Capgemini Technology services India Ltd.

Also, the conference witnessed a high-profile panel on ‘Pune Vision 2025’ consisting of the dignitaries like Sunil Phulari (IPS), Additonal Commissioner of Police, Suhas Mapari, OSD & Dy. Collector, PMRDA, Ajay Kumar, Airport Director, AAI, Pune airport, Ashutosh Parasnis, EC member SEAP, Nitin Deshpande, President Evolent Health International chaired the panel.

Speaking on the side lines of the occasion, Vidyadhar Purandare, Secretary, SEAP, “It is overwhelming to witness such progressive vision of stakeholders and regulators regarding Pune and its industry. We at SEAP wish to create a forum of various agencies of the central government, state government, local authorities and industry associations working together for the betterment of IT/ITES industry in Pune and build a #BRANDPUNE.”
