2 women rescued from prostitution near Yerwada

Pune – The social security cell of Pune police has rescued two women from prostitution racket at Hotel Gokul Residency on Friday. Police have arrested the agent, while hotel owner is absconding.

According to police, the accused persons used to bring women from different states and force them in flesh trade. After getting information, police raided the hotel at Viman Nagar chowk on Friday evening. Police Naik Sachin Bhau Kadam has lodged the FIR against the accused with Yerwada police station.

The case has been registered against Mikeshkumar Vasantbhai Luhar (33) of Vadgaosheri, Kalpana Thorat and lodge owner Firoj Mukeri.
