Pune’s Vaishnavi Adkar wins Double Crown in National Series Tournament

Pune, August 25, 2018: Vaishnavi Adkar of Pune took home double crown by winning Singles as well as Doubles title in under 14 category at National Series Tournament. The tournament was organized by Sania Mirza Tennis Academy under the aegis of All India Tennis Association and Telangana State Tennis Association. The tournament was held at Sania Mirza Tennis Academy, Hyderabad, Telangana.

In the Singles category Vaishnavi defeated Sai Bhoyar of Maharashtra 6-1, 6-1 in the semi finals and in the finals, she defeated Radhika Mahajan of Maharashtra, 6-1, 6-2.

In the doubles category Vaishnavi and Pari Singh of Maharashtra together defeated Chandni Srinivasan of Telangana and Radhika Mahajan of Maharashtra, 6-1, 6-1 in the semi finals. Also, in the finals Vaishnavi and Pari defeated Maithali

Mothe of Maharashtra and SuryavanshiTanwar of Haryana 6-3

This is Vaishnavi’s another major title after recent National Series at Guwahati. She is studying in Abhinav English Medium School, Erandwane in 8th Standard.She practices at Bounce Tennis Academy under the guidance of Kedar Shah.
