NCORD ties-up with Rung Solutions to make eHealthApp available to citizens through its network of 21,000 medical stores

Pune, 30 July 2018 – The phenomenon of digitization is reaching an inflection point across all
industries driven by consumer demand, innovation in technologies and prospects of even
greater economic benefits And healthcare is no exception.

The effects of an increasingly
digitized world are now reaching into every corner of our lives.
NCORD Health Card LLP came into existence with this sole mission of improving quality of life
by creating a global unified platform that connects healthcare providers and empowers

NCORD has already taken a step forward in digitalizing healthcare in not only in India but
across 82 countries and has initiated the mission process in Brazil, Germany and Australia.
In India, the Central Government has announced to provide a health insurance cover of Rs.5
lakh to 10 crore citizens under ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme. The medical records of the person
will be of utmost importance in this case. NCORD has made an effort to bring together all the
hospitals, insurance companies and other healthcare providers on a single platform to ensure
a maximum number of patients are benefited from such schemes.
NCORD’s internationally patented ‘eHealthSystem’ fulfils the Government of India’s objective
of “Digital Health” that was unanimously adopted by the 71st World Health Assembly in
Geneva. It also compliments the “Digital India” initiative launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister
Shri Narendra Modiji.
“Digital health technology have a huge potential for supporting Universal Health Coverage
(UHC) and improving accessibility, quality and affordability of health services. This is a resolution
which should be owned by all of us so as to pave the path for a forward-looking global health
agenda”, said J.P.Nadda is his address at the Assembly.
Introducing the resolution on digital health at the assembly on behalf of India and 20
cosponsors, Joint Secretary (International Health) Lav Agarwal last week said: “Digital health is
important in the context of countries achieving health-related SDG targets as well WHO’s
implementation of 13th General Program of Work. Digital health agenda is multisectoral and
cross-cutting in nature.”
NCORD’s eHealthApp will contribute significantly to our National Health Mission by helping
citizens store their medical records digitally in an electronic format. If linked to Aadhar Card, it
will assign the same Aadhar number as a unique identity number to patients for storing and
accessing medical records, anytime and anywhere in India and abroad.
The eHealthSystem has received patents from Australia and Switzerland whereas under
process for India, USA and Germany. It complies with international standards such as HIPAA, HL7 and HITECH Acts. All the health information of the users is stored on a secured cloud-
server in an encrypted format.
NCORD has recently signed an agreement with Rung Solutions (Pratham Group) who has
developed Medivision Gold, an inventory management software and used by over 21000
pharmacy stores in Maharashtra and neighbouring states. Pratham Group’s Chairman Shri.
Rajiv Bhale has taken keen efforts to make this initiative a success for the well-being of Indian
citizens.
NCORD’s alliance with Rung Solutions will help the ‘eHealthApp’ to reach a large number of
citizens through 21,000 medical stores. Patients can download the eHealthApp from these
stores. NCORD would provide all the marketing assistance to Rung Solutions to promote their
Medivision Gold software.

The eHealthApp is designed to empower patients so that the patients get necessary
treatments and health care whenever and wherever needed. They can find doctors, hospitals,
pharmacies and labs nearby and make use of emergency HELP button in case of any accidents,
and life-threatening incidences.
