Nagar road metro work to start soon – Jagdish Mulik
Pune – Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director, Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, MLA Jagdish Mulik and Pune municipal corporation (PMC) officials on Saturday inspected the Ahmednagar road, where the metro line work will start soon.
Mulik had earlier demanded construction of two-lane flyover at Gunjan Chowk and Shastri Nagar Chowk, Yerwada, as well as Kharadi bypass chowk, which are busiest junctions on the highway stretch. He had also demanded extension of the metro line till Wagholi.
The other persons present during the inspection included PMC standing committee chairman Yogesh Mulik, additional commissioner Rajendra Nimbalkar, corporators Sandeep Jahad, Rahul Bhandare, Sunita Galande, corporator Sheetal Shinde, corporator Shweta Galande, corporator Sheetal Sawant, Mukta Jagtap, Pune Metro executive engineer Ramnath Subramanyam, project engineer Gautam Girarde, PMC project engineer Narendra Salunkhe, Indrabhan Randive, PMC road department head Anirudh Pawaskar, Santosh Rajguru, Mahesh Galande, Arjun Jagtap, Dnyaneshwar Shinde, Ganesh Devkar, Vijay Pandav, and other municipal corporations and Metro officials.
