Salman Khan’s Sikandar To Stream On Netflix By June 2025

Mumbai, 6th April 2025: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s action-packed film Sikandar, which hit theatres on March 30, 2025, is set to make its digital debut on Netflix. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, the movie has garnered mixed reviews despite crossing ₹150 crore at the global box office within four days of release. The film’s theatrical run has been marked by a strong opening, but it struggled to maintain momentum in subsequent weeks.

According to industry reports, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for Sikandar. Most Bollywood films typically arrive on OTT platforms eight weeks post their theatrical release. Following this trend, Sikandar is expected to be available for streaming by late May or early June 2025.

 However, an official confirmation regarding the exact release date is awaited. Fans who missed the theatrical release are eagerly awaiting its OTT premiere to witness the action-thriller unfold from the comfort of their homes.

The film revolves around Sanjay Rajkot, played by Salman Khan, a man with a mysterious past and a reputation for taking down criminals daily. Rashmika Mandanna portrays Saisri, who describes Sanjay as a complex character admired by many as “Sikandar.”

 The movie also features Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. The storyline combines elements of action, romance, and suspense, making it a typical Salman Khan blockbuster.

Despite its star-studded cast and high expectations, Sikandar struggled to maintain momentum at the box office after an impressive opening. Critics have praised Salman Khan’s performance but noted that the film’s narrative lacks depth. Fans, however, have been supportive, appreciating the film’s entertainment value.

According to Rohan Mehta, a 28-year-old film enthusiast from Mumbai, “Salman Khan’s films are always a treat for his fans. While Sikandar may not be his best work, it still offers plenty of action and drama.” Another fan, Priya Patel, aged 25, from Ahmedabad, added, “I missed watching Sikandar in theatres, so I’m really looking forward to its OTT release.”
