Always Remember that You are Unique: Usha Uthup
Pune, 22nd March 2025: In your life, you never lose or win but you learn hence don’t take your education for granted and keep on learning. Never compare yourself with anybody, always remember that you are unique, just be yourself and you can be a contributor in others life too, said Usha Uthup.
Symbiosis Medical College for Women inaugurated “Sur Taal” a Centre for Performing Arts at Symbiosis International University (SIU) Campus, Lavale, Pune. Ms. Usha Uthup, Renowned Indian Singer was invited as the Chief Guest to Inaugurate the Centre.
Speaking at the occasion Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Provost, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, SIU said, this centre at SMCW is the replica of the Arts Centre at the B. J. Medical College. We, the doctors at SMCW, studied at the BJ Medical College, today what we are in our respective lives are because of the BJ and Sasoon Hospital.
Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and President Symbiosis and Chancellor, Symbiosis International University in his address mentioned that music has no language, no boundaries. Music is called the Universal Language and it connects people universally. Music is a good medicine for depression, mental illness etc. Medicine and music go hand in hand and it has a practical significance, Dr. Mujumdar, added further.
Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis and Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International University and Dr. Vijay Sagar, Dean, SMCW were the other distinguished dignitaries present for the function.
